Systemic Drug Delivery

We model and simulate the disposition within brain parenchyma of drugs based on molecular characteristics such as water- or fat-solubility and size, and for the common methods of delivery including intravenous injection over a time period, or oral bolus or periodic administration. The aim is to provide a prediction of drug entry and distribution based on patient-specific imaging that can assist pharmaceutical companies, clinical trials groups, and neuro- and medical oncologists in optimizing dose, delivery, and drug choice.
