Accomplishments
Therataxis is a company with its core competencies in the area of drug delivery to the central nervous system. We aim to be a one-stop shop to assist and improve delivery of therapeutics into brain and other solid tissue by
- predicting the distribution of therapies (both particulate and energetic) for specific individuals and disease conditions;
- developing and optimizing new delivery devices via understanding of tissue physiology;
- improving imaging and display, yielding quantitative three-dimensional maps of the physiological characteristics of brain tissue, which vary spatially and between individuals;
- linking pharmaceuticals and point-of-care delivery to improve the care and the outcomes of serious brain diseases and some cancers in other tissue.
